Alle auteurs van dit boek zijn artsen, collega’s die al vele jaren samenwerken in ICMART, de International Council of Medical Acupuncture and Related Techniques, in een vruchtbare uitwisseling van ervaringen, praktijken en hoe ze Medische Acupunctuur toepassen in hun eigen verschillende omgevingen. ICMART werd in 1983 in Wenen opgericht en vertegenwoordigt nu meer dan 80 medische lidorganisaties, met meer dan 50.000 individuele artsen.
